The Enterprise Solutions Practice Group Manager will have eight (8) or more years of design, architect, sales and management experience supporting complex solutions to large enterprise accounts. In this role, you will be a critical in servicing, supporting and selling to new and existing public sector accounts.
He or she will be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills that will leverage our strong reputation, customer satisfaction track record and past performance to assist with the sales growth and implementation of enterprise technology solutions to State and Local governments, as well as the education community in the Mid-Atlantic region. These solutions include:
Infrastructure projects – wireless and wired networks.
Security – firewall, security appliances, software and solutions.
Surveillance – various surveillance solutions.
System upgrades and migrations – such as Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM and Exchange.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Establish relationships at executive levels to identify and sell our products and services.
Build and lead a teams of internal and external resources to identify, pursue and close specific opportunities while providing professional leadership and coordination.
Create and support sales activities. Manage bids or at least have major involvement into the sales lifecycle. Manage activities and provide qualitative and quantitative information for successful sales.
Produce proposals for smaller engagements within area of expertise. Actively grows company portfolio with new and existing customers.
Establish and maintain close relationships with other sales teams, as well as with external partners to develop and achieve account strategies and opportunity plans.
Coordinate implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following areas: Data Center, Infrastructure, Security, Surveillance and Systems.
Provide advanced technical consulting and advice to others on proposal efforts, solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions.
Collect and determine data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements. Respond to requests for technical information from customers. Develop customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies.
Own and manage knowledge sharing within a community (e.g., team, practice, or project). Ensure team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project.
Proactively encourage membership and contributions of others to professional community and coach others in area of expertise. Produce internal published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components, modules, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong consultative selling ability. Demonstrated innovation and communication of new deliverables and offerings.
Ability to develop and articulate compelling IT solutions. Depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies.
Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles from beginning to end.
Knowledge of strategic account sales techniques and processes including understanding customer needs, overcoming objections, developing business cases, negotiating and closing complex deals.
Ability to manage a team in the delivery of multiple deliverables across multiple technologies.
Possess a detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of technologies in the customer’s Information Technology (IT) environment. Use product and application knowledge along with internal or architectural knowledge to develop solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead others in the gathering of requirements, designs, plans and estimates.
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related area of study
Proven application of technical expertise in successful engagements involving multiple disciplines.
3+ years of management/supervisory experience.
